Music in my life
my life with music.
Hello one and all. I am Joshua Green, but most my friends call me Josh. I was raised in Pacolet my whole life. I've been in music since sixth grade band class at Jonesville Elementary Middle School, having been a Euphonium player since then. I fully started becoming a musician at Union County High School, being a member of the marching band from 2015-2019. After graduating high school, I started my first two years of college at USC Union. After which I transferred to Limestone University with the intent of going into Music Ed. At the beginning of my junior year at limestone, I decided to drop Education, and get a degree in music. After the end of my junior year, I ended up transferring here to Converse after Limestone closed. Although I am getting a B.A. in music, I enjoy doing vocal impressions of different movie and TV characters, and hope to try to get into voice acting for my career.
my favorite music
There is no favorite song from Poor Man's Poison, because I really enjoy all of there music. Poor Man's Poison is a country band that reminds if the pre Garth Brooks era of country music still made music this year. I don't like modern country music, but this band and many like this band give me hope for my all time favorite Genre.
Electric swing is a recent genre that I have been enjoying right now, blending 1920's aesthetic with a modern spin.

I love Poor Mans Poison and Caravan Palace! Your blog is super simple and easy to read, good job!
ReplyDeleteHey Joshua! Great blog! I have heard that the euphonium is a very difficult instrument to play, but the fact that you have been able to pick it up and learn about it for years is very noble of you! I also kind of agree with your opinion about Beyonce's Texas music. I like Beyonce, but this piece was absolutely NOT my cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteI was not expecting to see so many songs I like mentioned in this blog! I love Poor Man's Poison and Caravan Palace! I never would have placed you as the type to enjoy the K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack, but I honestly can't blame you. I've caught myself listening to quite a few of their songs myself.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE SHINEDOWNNNNN i went to their concert in september and it was 10/10
