Music and Memory

    Welcome again one and all, I am Joshua Green.  This time we will be delving into the music that triggers specific memories in my life.  This blog post is a harder one to write about simply due to that I didn't really start LISTENING to music until my 11th grade year of high school.  I will do my best, but I can not guarantee that there will be much substance to this post, now lets dive in. Yes I know what you are thinking, "ooo Star wars" or "oh Star Wars" which ever one you may be, I am a big fan of Star Wars, so much so that I don't even remember the 1st time I have watched Star Wars.  However When I was young, my family and I would go to the beach for a week once a year.  we had these mini DVD player that would let us watch movies on the way down to the beach.  My older brother and I would always have Star Wars episode 4, 2, and 3.  So much that the intro scene music is in grained into my brain. * F-Bomb warning in this piece You may r...

Music in my life

                   my life with music.         Hello one and all.  I am Joshua Green, but most my friends call me Josh.  I was raised in Pacolet my whole life.  I've been in music since sixth grade band class at Jonesville Elementary Middle School, having been a Euphonium player since then.  I fully started becoming a musician at Union County High School, being a member of the marching band from 2015-2019.  After graduating high school,  I started my first two years of college at USC Union.  After which I transferred to Limestone University with the intent of going into Music Ed.  At the beginning of my junior year at limestone, I decided to drop Education, and get a degree in music.  After the end of my junior year, I ended up transferring here to Converse after Limestone closed.  Although I am getting a B.A. in music, I enjoy doing vocal impressions of different movi...
