Music and Memory
Welcome again one and all, I am Joshua Green. This time we will be delving into the music that triggers specific memories in my life. This blog post is a harder one to write about simply due to that I didn't really start LISTENING to music until my 11th grade year of high school. I will do my best, but I can not guarantee that there will be much substance to this post, now lets dive in.
Yes I know what you are thinking, "ooo Star wars" or "oh Star Wars" which ever one you may be, I am a big fan of Star Wars, so much so that I don't even remember the 1st time I have watched Star Wars. However When I was young, my family and I would go to the beach for a week once a year. we had these mini DVD player that would let us watch movies on the way down to the beach. My older brother and I would always have Star Wars episode 4, 2, and 3. So much that the intro scene music is in grained into my brain.

* F-Bomb warning in this piece
You may recognize what series this is from, or you may not. I am a big fan of Red Vs. Blue. Not only that, I am also a fan of a lot of Jeff Williams music, as well as his daughter Casey Lee Williams. This piece make me remember when I was first introduced to the series, as well as other series made by RoosterTeeth. Below is the music in context with the scene. If you want the context to the music its "Red Vs. Blue Season 9: Carolina and Washington Vs. Sharkface" Beware of F-bombs. Without Knowing it, this series, and RoosterTeeth as a whole really started to inspire me to go into voice acting.
Diamond Eyes By Shinedown was THE FIRST song I listened to that was not country music. It was the first time I genuinely enjoyed listening to music given all the country music I listened to beforehand was modern country. My mom is a big fan of Shinedown, even going to their concert this past September. I was in 11th grade when I first started listening to them. Algebra II was a serious pain. This song made me enjoy music, and has me constantly wishing I picked up guitar instead, or drum set. I enjoy this song, I enjoy this band, And I've enjoyed a lot of memories because of them.
That is the best I can do for the Music that is connected to some of my memories. Again, sorry for the lack of substance.
Hi hiii, so unfortunately I am not a big fan of Star Wars, I do love me a good Marvel movie. My family also had a DVD player and let me just say it was well loved!
